The first floor was reconfigured to create two ensuite bedrooms that have been finished to the highest of standards. The bathrooms At Silverton Road in Hammersmith, we undertook a full home renovation to revitalise this charming property. Although the property was in good shape, it had not been updated for over two decades. Consequently, the layout was not optimal for modern living. The owners, therefore, wanted to expand the property’s footprint by adding a kitchen extension and converting the loft into an additional bedroom and study.
To address these needs, we created a new layout featuring a separate front room with generous dimensions. Moreover, to maximise usable floor space, we incorporated pocket doors into the design. This approach ensured a more spacious and modern living environment, perfectly suited to the owners’ lifestyle. Each bedroom have been beautifully designed and finished boasting a myriad of elegant touches. The bathrooms in each bedroom have been beautifully designed and finished boasting a myriad of elegant touches. Firstly, we crafted a contemporary and stylish ground floor cloakroom between the front room and the newly expanded kitchen/dinner. This design maximizes the full-width bifold doors that open to an attractive backyard, making this space perfect for entertainment. Additionally, we added a stunning lantern skylight to the kitchen extension, enhancing the natural light.
We also installed a delightful Dutch door on the side of the property, providing access to the kitchen from a side outer corridor. The loft space has been converted into an additional bedroom with an adjoining study that has been designed to function as an independent space or as an extension of the bedroom itself. The top floor is also serviced by a modern shower room making the top floor almost an independent space. The study are features three generous skylights making this space bright and airy.
